RESPECT THE MIC…We want our events to be comfortable and respectful. We accept and respect everyone. No divisive, discriminatory, racist, hateful language and no overly sexual content. If you intentionally do so, your mic will be cut off and you will not be invited back.

$10 SIGN UP FEE FOR PERFORMERS… On The Block we challenge Artists to take their time on the mic seriously and to be intentional with their art. Our platform is an opportunity to be seen and heard by others & we want to keep everything organic and smooth. The $10 fee is to weed out those that are not serious and that take up space for those that are. You don’t have to be perfect or polished to perform on our platform at all, but we do want you to be intentional. Invest into your art. This is only a “sign up fee” if you are personally invited by the staff to perform you do not have to pay the $10 fee. Also if you pay the $10 to perform you do not have to pay for a ticket to get in. Note: the $10 fee is non-refundable.

PERFORMANCE TIME… Each performer is allotted 3-4 minutes or 1 song. We want to make sure that all Artists that sign up are able to perform. Please respect the time requirements.
